Marathon County Special Education is located in central Wisconsin providing high-quality special education programs and services to six school districts. These districts include Abbotsford, Athens, Edgar, Marathon, Rosholt, and Spencer. We have successfully served these schools for over six decades with a tradition of educational excellence for all children.
In 2019 Marathon County Special Education took over the responsibility of managing Birth to 3 services for the counties of Marathon, Langlade, and Lincoln. This unique collaboration allows for birth to 21 continuum of options and enhanced coordination of services.
